What is this about ?

Cycle-Savvy Leadership is a pioneering approach, developed by Amy Jackson, that integrates the intrinsic biological rhythms of the menstrual cycle with professional leadership practices.
It recognises the different phases of the cycle as opportunities to enhance leadership effectiveness through the strategic alignment of three intersecting pillars:
Confidence, Connection and Contribution.
Confidence – during different phases of the menstrual cycle, hormonal fluctuations can affect a woman’s mood and self-esteem. The pillar of Confidence focuses on strategies to maintain and boost self-assurance and self-compassion throughout her cycle. Giving her more energy, more consistent leadership, and more effective outcomes.
Connection – this pillar emphasises the importance of social bonds and effective communication, which can be influenced by the hormonal shifts throughout the cycle. It supports women to recognise the different approaches they can leverage at different points in their cycle to build stronger relationships, more influence, and more impact.
Contribution – during different phases we can leverage different strengths for peak performance. Recognising the fluctuating needs, and adapting our self-leadership, and leadership of others accordingly, we can enhance our own performance and support others to deliver at their best more often.

Meet the driving force behind this idea
Amy Jackson
Coaches mid-level managers. an introvert who thrives in group settings. loses herself in laughter before winding down from exhaustion.
As Amy reaches almost 20 years in practise, and her own perimenopausal years, she has been increasingly curious about the ups and downs that she sees with her female clients – the specific challenges of developing as a leader where consistency is expected of us, always, and yet our bodies are in constant flux. She has been curious about how we can work with our cycles as leaders, instead of fighting against them and expecting ourselves to constantly perform the same way all the time.
Amy is developing a rich toolkit to help female leaders lead themselves in new ways, acknowledging the reality that we really don’t want to talk about this stuff in most workplaces! How can we support ourselves to be at our best, whatever phase we're in, to build - rather than undermine - our confidence month after month (and in ways that those around us need never know!)?
